AsiliaGeo Oil and Gas
The Asilia Geo in-situ internal cleaning and epoxy coating of pipeline diameters from 6 to 36 inches (and larger diameters are possible) provides internal rehabilitation of the pipeline wall by means of a permanent epoxy coating that stops internal corrosion. The epoxy coating system is designed to meet the client’s production demands and provide a permanent barrier between the product and the steel pipeline wall. The epoxy coating system stops internal pipeline corrosion in hydrocarbon, gas, petroleum products, chemical, water, and food products pipelines.
The world leading AsiliaGeo in-situ pipe cleaning and coating process utilise specifically developed pipeline scrapers to mechanically and chemically prepare the internal pipeline wall along its full length prior to the unique application of corrosive resistant epoxy coating application. The in-situ coating will prevent any further corrosion from taking place within the pipeline at a fraction of the cost of pipeline replacement.
What We Do
- Internal pipeline epoxy coating (average 200 microns) that controls corrosion, ARB and SRB
- Applied on offshore and onshore, oil, gas, water and brine pipelines
- Pipeline lengths of up to 45 km, 6”-36” diameter
- Effectively coats pits, channel corrosion, bends, dents, girth, welds and other discontinuities; overcoats FBE when required
- No pipeline excavation required / Access only required at pipe ends
- Low pipeline downtime
Achievements
- 30-year track record
- 165 pipelines coated to date in excess of 25M ft2 coated
- 54% of historical work undertaken in an offshore environment
- Lines still in operation after 30 years
- No known pipelines decommissioned due to coating failure
Coating Process
- Average coating dry film thickness 200 micro
- Coating air dried between application
- Coating applied in three to five coats
- Duration between coats is 16-24 hours
- Line de-pressurised slowly to manage solvent levels
- Coating applied by specially modified compressed air driven polyurethane scrapers
